The international committee and the conference organisers offer bursaries to encourage participation from regions that have been underrepresented in previous IOERC conferences.
１．Qualifications
Applicants must meet all the qualifications.
（１）Applicants must be a researcher, student or practitioner of outdoor education.
（２）Applicants should reside in regions of Latin America and the Caribbean, Middle East, Africa, Pacific Islands, or Asia excluding Japan. They cannot be international students in the country or area.
（３）Applicants should have never attended IOERC conference before.
(Applications from countries represented in the past to certain extent may not be given priority.)

３．How to Apply
Please send an e-mail to the conference organisers (info@ioerc10.org) with your name, country of residence, and institution you belong to, and attach a copy of your certificate of employment (or enrollment certification in case of students). In response, the organisers will inform you of more details of application process. Please send the e-mail no later than 31 October 2023 in Japan time.
(Independently from this bursary application, you must apply for conference participation and research presentation. It is a prerequisite of bursary that you present a paper.)
４．Determination of the bursary recipients
The conference organisers will determine recipients and e-mail them by the middle of November 2023.
５．Bursary
30,000 JPY
The bursary will be paid to the recipients by the conference organizers at the conference.
６．Requirements
The recipients should fully participate in the conference, and he/she is expected to present a paper.
If the contents of the application are found not correct, the organisers shall request a refund of the bursary.
